BEAR DEN: #1

Focus: Family oriented program - boy/parent program designed to strengthen family relationship.

Organization: 6 to 8 Cub Scouts in a Den; Usually Dens are made up of boys in the same Grade - Grade 3 is Bear.  We currently have 2 BEAR Dens: Den 5 and Den 7.

Meetings: Usually twice a month held at a parent's home, or other place in the neighborhood; September through May; Cubs graduate into the next level usually in June; Pack meetings are when awards are presented, skits and games are held, etc., and are held once a month, except in summer when Summertime Activities are conducted once in June, July, and August

Parental involvement: Parents attend Pack meetings once a month with their son and help out at Pack activities and events as needed.

Leadership: 

Activities: Den meetings, fun with the Cub Scout Pack, and District/Council events.

Awards: Bear Badge.
