Fall 2025 Pack Activities

December bonus pack meeting: "Stir-crazy hike"

Staying in town for winter break and going stir-crazy? Let's go on a hike!

Date: Sunday, December 28, 2025

Time: 2pm-3:30pm

Location: Pickerel Pond Trail

--> Park on the street outside 6 Huron Drive, Natick. We'll meet behind the building at the trailhead.

Cost: Free

Suggested Scout Attire: Class-B (yellow tshirts) -- but most importantly dress for the weather!

Bring: Cub Scout Six Essentials: filled water bottle, whistle, first aid kit, flashlight, snack, sun protection.

Reminder that a parent/guardian is required to accompany Kindergarteners & 1st graders at all Scouting events. Siblings and guests welcome.

Hike info: This is a short easy hike with a couple small ups and downs, ~ 1 mile. Good for beginners. Not stroller/wheelchair accessible. Likely to last less than an hour, with stops to look at interesting things.

January Pack Meeting: PWD Car Cutting Workshop

Date: Saturday, Jan 10, 2026

Time: 2-4pm

Location: Ebbs house - 26 Birch Rd, Natick

Cost: free

Scout Attire: Class-A (blue/tan)

Bring / other details: Attend if you need ideas, or if you don't have a saw and need help making the first big cut!

Bring your pinewood derby car kit, received at the December pack meeting. If you missed it, contact Greg Kinchla at greg@kinchla.com to arrange another time to pick up your kit.

February Pack Meeting: Pinewood Derby

Date: Saturday, Feb 7, 2026

Time: 11am

Location: Nobscot Scout Reservation, 1 Nobscot Rd, Sudbury, MA

Cost: free

Scout Attire: Class-A (blue/tan)

Bring / other details: Bring your pinewood derby car and your good sportsmanship!
